Schlosspark Bad Homburg
A nice place in Bad Homburg is the garden around the castle. For orientation to find it look for the White Tower please. The castle is in the middle of the town, so you can reach it by feet. In the garden benches inviting you for a break - at the sea, near by the Orangerie and some more. In the castle is a small restaurant to drink a coffee too. The garden is open daily, closed during the darkness.
Kurpark Bad Homburg
Large park almost in the city centre. In the Louisenstraße (pedestrian zone) is located approximately in the middle the so-called "Kurhaus", the spa and conference centre. Behind this is the Kaiser-Friedrich-Promenade. Once you cross the main road, you already reached the park. Here you can go for a walk. Benches invite you to linger. Restaurants and bars are also there.

The Herzberg is the home mountain of Bad Homburg. You can walk from Bad Homburg, or - more convenient way, which I also chose - from the castle hall (the castle hall can be reached by city bus). Located on the Herzberg mountain is located a lookout tower and a restaurant with a terrace. *** Opening times *** April: Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 - 22:00 h Friday and Saturday from 10:00 - 23:00 h Sunday and public holidays from 10.00 - 21:00 h (Closed on Mondays) From 02.01. to 01.04. is open from 11:00 - 18:00 h. Hot meals until one hour before closing.
