Buy these saver fare tickets "Sparpreis Europa" from 39 EUR. If your journey starts in a Croatian city where no ticket is available from, first buy a ticket of Croatian railways to a possible departure station. And a second train ticket to Germany.

The Zagreb to Munich night train is a comfortable travel option.

1b Travelling from Munich (Germany) to Stockholm (Sweden)

Deutsche Bahn (German Railways) offers tickets to selected destinations in Sweden to saver fares called "Sparpreis Europa". The ticket price starts from EUR 37.

These train tickets are available from Germany to cities such as Göteborg, Stockholm and Malmö. They always include transit through Denmark using InterCity, EuroCity and ICE trains. From Copenhagen to Sweden, tickets are only available for travel with either SJ high speed trains (designated as "X2000" when booking) or the Öresundståg trains.

2a Travelling from Varaždin (Croatia) to Zagreb (Croatia)

To travel in Croatia by train, buy domestic train tickets locally at a railway station. Most tickets can also be purchased on the website of "HZ" (Croatian railways).

Train tickets for international journeys are only available at railway stations.

If no train connection is available, use one of the frequent bus connections.

2c Travelling from Munich (Germany) to Copenhagen (Denmark)

To travel from Germany to Denmark by train, use one of the daily connections which usually runs via Hamburg.

Saver fares are available from Euro 29. For detailed schedules and ticket fares, please use one of our booking links. As earlier you book, as cheaper the prices are.

If you want to include a night train, there is currently only one option left: in the summer months there is one IC train travelling overnight from Hamburg (Germany) to Copenhagen (Denmark).

In 2021 a new night-train-line will run from Berlin via Hamburg and Copenhagen to Stockholm.

2d Travelling from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Stockholm (Sweden)

To travel from Copenhagen to Stockholm by train, you have frequent direct SJ X2000/Snabbtåg trains - at least every two hours. The journey time is about five hours. More connections are available with change in Malmö including an Öresundståg on the first part.

There is even the option to use a night train: first by Öresundståg from Copenhagen via the Öresund Bridge to Malmö. There you change to the SJ night train NT2 from Malmö to Stockholm.
