City tour of Hamburg on your own / Hamburg

Those who don't know Hamburg for now and want to get an initial overview, can do this by bus line 111. This bus line stops at 16 main sights. You can use this bus with a normal bus ticket - the best is to buy a day pass for Hamburg public transportation which is EUR 7. A good alternative to the tourist-rip-off-offerings (but without explanation).
