Trip to Ponta do Garajau / Funchal

Once on Madeira and possibly even in Funchal, I recommend a trip to Ponta Garajau in Canico.

From Funchal, you will reach the place with the bus line 155 of the Company EACL (Empresa de Automoveis do Canico).

There is a 18 m high statue of Christ on the headland.
And from the terrace you have a good view to Funchal in the west or to Canico de Baixo to the east.

A café is also available.
In addition, well-maintained toilets (outside the cafes).
