1a Travelling from Trondheim (Norway) to Oslo (Norway)
There are two daily direct trains from Trondheim to Oslo: one during the day and one night train.

In peak season, the trains is sold out very fast (especially the night train).
The journey time is about seven hours.

1b Travelling from Oslo (Norway) to Gothenburg (Sweden)
To travel from Oslo to Gothenburg/Göteborg by train, use one of the direct train connections. There are usually two to three connections per day with a journey time of about 3,5 hours. One-way train tickets are available from 25 Euro.

2a Travelling from Trondheim (Norway) to Narvik (Norway)
To travel in Norway by train with VY or another operator, please buy your train ticket online via one of the following booking links. There you find exact schedules and ticket prices. Advance fares (Minipris) can be considerably cheaper compared to full fare tickets.
For connections along the coast and in the far north you have to go with buses. For example from Bodö/Fauske to Narvik, to the Lofoten or from Narvik to North Cape. Narvik is connected by train from Sweden.

2b Travelling from Narvik (Norway) to Stockholm (Sweden)
Travel from Narvik to Stockholm by direct overnight train NT93. The journey time is 18:10 hours. Train tickets are available from 50 EUR (500 SEK).
The departure time in Narvik is at 15:15. The arrival time in Stockholm at 09:20.
The night train offers seats in open-seating-cars which are spacious and cozy. More relaxing are the couchette compartments with six berths. And sleeper compartments which you can book for 1, 2 or 3 persons. There is a spacious, clean shower available for sleeping car travellers with free towels.
All in all a very comfortable overnight train with scenic views In Lapland, especially on the part of the route between Narvik and Kiruna.

2c Travelling from Stockholm (Sweden) to Hamburg (Germany)

2) From Stockholm to Hamburg by night train ‘SJ’. The journey time is 12:30 hours. The train offers the following service classes:
- Standard seat from 49 EUR.
- Bed in a couchette car from 65 EUR.

- A bed in a private sleeping car (just for you) from 350 EUR.

3) With a day train connection with changes in Copenhagen and Hamburg. ‘Deutsche Bahn’ offers cheap tickets starting at 49 EUR. The travel time is 10 hours. You travel as follows:
- From Stockholm to Copenhagen with the high-speed X2000 Snabbtåg train. The journey time is 5 hours 15 minutes.
- From Copenhagen to Hamburg by Intercity/Eurocity. The travel time is 4:30 hours.
