The Thalys high-speed-train is the fastest train connection between the Netherlands and Belgium. The Thalys train runs on the route from Amsterdam via Rotterdam and Antwerp to Brussels.

Slightly slower but cheaper are the hourly InterCity trains from Amsterdam via The Hague, Rotterdam and Antwerp to Brussels.

Besides these long-distance trains, there are also regional trains from Roosendaal to Antwerp and from Maastricht to Liège.

Travel from Brussels to London by direct Eurostar high-speed-train. The journey time is 1:50 hours. The train ticket price starts at 57 EUR. There are at least 8 train connections daily.

2b Travelling from Hoek van Holland (Netherlands) to Harwich (United Kingdom)

To travel from the Netherlands to the UK by train, the fastest option is to include the direct Eurostar train from Amsterdam to London (ticket price from 50 EUR, travel time is four hours). Buy your ticket via the booking links provided. There you can also find timetables and ticket prices. Book early in advance to get saver-price tickets.

To Amsterdam and from London, you may need to buy additional tickets if the booking of your entire itinerary is not possible in one step.
