The "Parc Balnéaire du Prado" is a great beach and leisure complex in the 8th arrondissement of Marseille.
Here are six beaches, "Prado Plage Nord", "Prado Plage Sud", "Plage de l'Huveaune", "Plage Borély", "Plage de Bonneveine" and "Plage de la Vieille Chapelle".
The beaches are equipped with showers, toilets, first aid, snacks and luggage storage facilities (from mid-June to early September).
Behind the beaches are spacious green areas with playgrounds.
Interesting: the gravel of the "Plages du Prado" comes from the shafts of the two metro lines!
To get to the "Parc Balnéaire du Prado" use bus number 19 from the station "Castellane" and get off at "La Plage".
