The subway line U3 is very convenient to all areas in Hamburg, since this is a ring line and you can get connections in all directions. It operates inter alia from main railway station (south) and with important stops as Mönckebergstraße, town hall (Rathaus), Landungsbrücken, Sankt Pauli and so on. With it you can also get to Barmbek or over the stop Lübeckerstraße you have eg connection to Wandsbek.
