Eurail Slovēnijā
Pārskats un informācija par ceļošanas maršrutiem, Slovēnijas vilcienu veidiem, nakts vilcieniem un Eurail rezervācijām.
Validity:
Eurail is valid on all trains of SZ (State Railways) as well on IC Buses operated by DB/Deutsche Bahn (German Railways) from Ljubljana to Munich and Zagreb.
For more information about train companies in Slovenia click here.
Reservation and supplement:
Day trains: Reservation compulsory for travel with ICS trains on the route Maribor – Ljubljana – Koper and on IC Bus services. All other trains can be used without a reservation.

Night trains: Reservation is compulsory for travelling on the night trains to Munich and Zurich.

Good to know:
SZ is the only operator in Slovenia, there are no private operators. Eurailing is very easy – just hop on a train and grab a seat. Between Ljubljana and Maribor (and to Koper in summer) there are also ICS trains which require a reservation. As there are enough alternative connections by regular trains it is no problem to avoid these trains. From Ljubljana, you have good connections to all neighbouring countries, however getting to Italy is a bit more tricky. Most important destination besides Ljubljana is Lake Bled, served by two separate train lines. Scenic lines include the line to Koper and the Bohinj Railway from Jesenice to Nova Gorica.
Timetables are available in our schedule planner or the Eurail app which include all trains and timings. You can also check on the national schedule planner.
Currently, there is no direct link between Slovenian and Italian railways. You have the following options to cross the border: Train to Nova Gorica, then on foot or by bus across the town to the Italian station of Gorizia Centrale. Continue from there to Venice. Alternatively you can travel by train from Sezana to Villa Opicina, then take the tramway to Trieste and continue from there by train.
Lake Bled is served by two stations on different lines. Lesce Bled station is on the international main line from Ljubljana to Villach (Austria) and is served by all international trains. There are regular buses connecting the station with Lake Bled. The other station, Bled Jezero, is directly at the lake on the line from Jesenice to Nova Gorica.
