Trip to the Vineyard / Großheringen

In the southernmost part of the wine region Saale-Unstrut in Thuringia, in the triangle Naumburg - Weimar - Jena, directly situated on the river Saale (but also not far from the Ilm)

*** The vineyard ***
Wine Location: Naumburg Göttersitz; On the Köppelberg in Bad Kosen Kösen on the Kaatschener Dachberg

*** The food ***
During the summer time there is a small local restaurant...
Under the pergola overgrown with vine leaves, which gives a pleasant shade on hot summer days, you sit excellent. You sit just above the Saale and can then look at the flowing water of the river. Gorgeous!
... or you can have a picnic in the vineyard.
For this purpose, the winery offers three different picnic basket variants (must be pre-ordered).
To eat just find a place in the vineyard or take it in the hut "Talaussicht".

PS: opening times - open from May to October - Monday/Tuesday closed, otherwise from 11:00/12:00h.
