Kabak Koyu - Pumpkin Bay / 페티예

Kabak Koyu is one of the few places not yet touched by mass tourism. Places to stay are mostly campgrounds with huts all overlooking the ocean and the cove.

To reach the area, you should go to Mugla then to Fethiye. There is a nearby airport for domestic flights for Mugla from Istanbul and the vice versa. After arriving Fethiye, you should get bus from Fethiye main bus station to Faralya, local bus/dolmus departs from in front of Carrefour mall (for 6.5 TL with app.40 min of bus ride) upon arriving Faralya, there will be bus-like half trucks designed for rough path, they work like an ordinary taxi-style pricing 40 TL if you are going to rent them on your own but you can also share the price with another passenger, the price will be same around 5 TL for each.

The area is suitable for camping and also lots of hostels are abundant in the district. They also provide camping places if you don't have your own tent with you with electricity / food supply. Place is amazing and must-see.
