The Garden House Hostel in Porto is pretty centrally located, just 1 minute's walk from the metro station Bolhao at the Rua de Santa Catarina. The hostel is in a great old building with wooden floors, very new and clean bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. There are washer / dryers, personal computers with Internet and headphones, a TV room with a comfortable sofa, etc. And you can also buy a few drinks, which can then be enjoyed on the terrace. The rooms are equipped very useful: there are only beds and under each the beds you find your own big locker! The hostel can be noisy at night, because it pretty much echoes in the stairwell. Ask for a room in the back or take some ear plugs. I paid for a 6-bed room with breakfast per night EUR 16 - perfectly adequate for me. the hostel is a bit hard to find because the name is very small and below the bell.

Note: The cards are indeed available at the terminus of Sao Bento, but not at the Campanha - although there there are four metro lines.

The Rivoli Cinema Hostel is a beautiful hostel in the heart of the amazing city Porto. From this place you can go everything by foot, culture, nightlife and shopping. Close to the hostel is the Metrostation Aliados (Line D) or around 5 minutes is the Metrostation Trindade where stop all Metro Line from Porto. Inside it is a great atmosphere, nice stuff and a lot things to do. Movies, PC, Games and on every day is another special. The room looks like after different movies.
