Beach of Capucins

Plage des Capucins

The "Plage des Capucins" is a beautiful sandy beach near the city center. There are toilets, showers and a first-aid post. Furthermore, a small playground and a beach volleyball court available.

Calanque de Figuerolles

The Calanques in the French Bouches-du-Rhône Département are small, fjord-like bays with very clear water, where you can swim very well. The Calanque de Figuerolles is within easy reach from La Ciotat. From the city center it takes about 15 minutes walk. The Calanque de Figuerolles has a pebble beach.

Parc du Mugel

The "Parc du Mugel" is a very interesting park in the south of La Ciotat. It is located at the foot of the "Massif du Cap de l'Aigle" with its famous peaks "Bec de l'Aigle". The park shows an impressive, lush flora (herb garden, exotic garden, bamboo, palms, cacti, acacia, strawberry trees, etc.). Be sure to go to the viewpoint "Le Grand Belvédère". From here you can enjoy a wonderful view over La Ciotat and the environment! The park has free toilets and plenty of seating options. Opening times: April-September: 08:00-20:00h October-March: 09:00-18:00h

Calanque du Grand Mugel

The Calanques in the French Bouches-du-Rhône Département are small, fjord-like bays with very clear water, where you can swim very well. The "Calanque du Grand Mugel" is easy to reach from La Ciotat. From the city center it is a walk of about 15 minutes. The "Calanque du Grand Mugel" has a pebble beach. During peak season the bay is monitored and a kiosk/snack + toilets are open.
