マデイラ空港 / フンシャル

The airport (Funchal / Aeroporto da Madeira) belonging to Portugal Atlantic island of Madeira is located in the "capital" of the island. It lies east of town, belongs - considered correctly - to the city of Santa Cruz. You can not only just fly from here to the Portuguese mainland, but also to the neighbouring island of Porto Santo (which can also be reached by boat, however). Furthermore, there is international air traffic from Funchal.

There is an airport bus, connecting the city of Fuchal and the airport for EUR 5 (20 km distance). However, the bus runs only at longer intervals.
