COOP-Restaurant Lausanne Au Centre
At the COOP store there is on the 7th floor a customer restaurant. Up there you have a pretty nice view over the rooftops of the city, towards the lake and to the mountains. There is a glazed terrace. The restaurant opens well at 08:30h. But in the evening it already closes at 18:00h (on Saturday) and 19:00h (Monday to Friday). At coffee time, there is a special: Sweet pie + warm drink for less than 5 Swiss Francs. We thought that was okay. An espresso costs 3.20 EUR, but has not really much to do with espresso. It was not such a good choice here. The fresh fruit on the other hand (small shell almost 4 Swiss Francs, larger shell almost 5 Swiss Francs) was able to score by good taste and freshness :-)
Manora Restaurant
Also in Lausanne Manor store there is a customer restaurant. The opening times: Monday: 09:00 - 19:00h Tuesday to Friday 08:30 - 19:00h Saturday: 08:00 - 18:00h There is a small terrace and various options where you can sit. I personally liked a 2-table indoors especially because it stand alone (though in a passage area) and because it has the most amazing view to the church. In the evening: coffe yes, dinner not. Pizza available up to 18:00h, crepes only up to 17:30h.
