If you want to travel from Thailand to Cambodia, you have to take a bus. There is no passenger train connection between these two countries.
There are daily direct bus connections from Bangkok (Thailand) to Siem Reap (Cambodia) with a journey time of about 9 hours.

The common travel route from Bangkok (Thailand) to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) is as follows:
By direct night train from Bangkok (Thailand) to Padang Besar (Malaysia). Padang Besar is the border station between Thailand and Malaysia.
You arrive in the morning at Padang Besar where you change to a train to Butterworth (Malaysia). In Butterworth change to Kuala Lumpur.

If you want to travel from Thailand to Vietnam, there is no train connection available. You have to make use of one of the two following options.
Either use a flight from one of the big cities in Thailand to Vietnam.
Or travel by direct bus from Bangkok (Thailand) to Siem Reap (Cambodia). There an overnight stay is required. We recommend to stay at least two nights and visit the famous Angkor Wat. From Siem Reap (Cambodia) take one of the direct buses via Phnom Penh (Cambodia) to Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).
