Youth Hostel Santana / Funchal

Thos who visit Madeira, will also make a trip to Santana. This is possible as a day trip. But if you want to go hiking, you need more time, and thus a night outside off Funchal.

The hostel in Santana is located not far from the historic center and very close to the large supermarket (Continente). The building of the hostel looks very modern. From inside we could unfortunately not take a closer look, because at the time of our visit (Sunday afternoon) it was closed. However, everything seemed appealing, neat and clean. The hostel looked inviting to me.
