International bus service via Sofia. Reduced fares for rail pass holders.
Reservation is mandatory, tickets+reservations can be bought online at website of operator MTT or at the ticket offices at:
Thessaloniki: Main train station; bus ticket desk; daily 0630-1400
Sofia: Bus station in front of main train station; ticket desk 3; Mon - Fri 0800-1800, Sat - Sun 0800-1600
Plovdiv: Central square 1; Mon - Fri 0700-1800

At the booking website, Thessaloniki is called "Solun".

To Plovdiv 58 BGN/106 BGN

Reduced fare for rail pass holders, students, retired (one way/return):
