The Thuringian sausage ("Thüringer Bratwurst") is a specialty of the region and is very popular not only in Germany but also known beyond Germany's borders. Those who visit Thuringia have to taste the Thuringian Bratwurst! The Thuringian Bratwurst is as we say here "Fast Food on Thüringisch". In all cities you will find a sausage stand. I mention this one here in Weimar because it in my opinion the stand looks good. A bratwurst costs in average EUR 1.80 ... more or less.If you have luck, it is EUR 1,50 but is sold sometimes as well for EUR 2,00. I wish all the guests "Bon appetit!"
