Những nơi thú vị ở Nijmegen

Here you find the Bike bridge (De Fietsbrug) in Nijmegen over the river De Waal. A unique bridge only for trains and bikes. One has a lovely view on Nijmegen in the east and in the west a view on the river through the polders in direction of Rotterdam. The bridge starts for bicycles just after the police station which is situated near the main train station. So if you do not want to enjoy the city of Nijmegen then the most beautiful and shortest way to avoid the town is either to bike or to walk over the bridge. The length of the total bridge is approximately 3 km. But after 2,5 km you can take the stairs down and either you will find a very friendly more or less alternative city beach and observe beautiful Nijmegen, or you walk or bike along the dike to the west in the direction of Rotterdam. :)
