Kiosque Peynet & Champ de Mars

The "Kiosque Peynet" (under monument protection) is located on the "Champ de Mars", a small garden between the old town and the "Parc Jouvet". The "Kiosque Peynet" was built in 1862 by the architect Eugène Poitoux, who became famous, however, in 1942 due to the painter Raymond Peynet. Through him, the story of "Amoureux de Peynet" originated. From here you have a great view towards the Ardèche department.
