Bauhaus-Museum Weimar
The Bauhaus Museum Weimar, currently (still) housed in the Kunsthalle at the Theatre Square, owns more than 200 exhibits. It gives an insight into the development of the State Bauhaus in Weimar, the most important school of design in the 20th Century. A new building is planned. The groundbreaking ceremony will be in 2015, the opening in 2018. Entrance fee: Currently (as of March 2014) the entrance fee to the Bauhaus is EUR 4 per adult. Audio guides are available. Guided tours are available (price EUR 3 per person) Opening times: from 10:00h during the winter months to 16:00h, in the summer half year to 18:00h
