Hotel Lindenhof in Ilmenau
Due to the proximity to my home, I never stayed overnight in Ilmenau. But I can recommend he Hotel Lindenhof due to its location. It looks very inviting. The prices are not for the small wallet. In the winter garden of the hotel, you can sit comfortably and have a good view of the pedestrian area. I used to drink coffee there and found it very pleasant.
Hotel Tanne
It is close to my home and friends often stay here. So I can recommend it! Good middle class hotel, rooms are fine.
