Georgbräu in Berlin / Berlin

To find in the inner city Berlin a good restaurant (at least without local knowledge) is not easy. Much is unfortunately just tourist rip-off. If you have the opportunity to move away a little from the absolute centre, you should definitely do that, because there are many better restaurants.

After several failed attempts, we found near the Alexanderplatz a place which was quite acceptable. It is located in the Nikolai Quarter (Nikolaiviertel). There are many different restaurants, but as already said ...

We have tasted it in Georgbräu and the prices were okay too. At first we thought that there is a "capital surcharge", but when we saw the generous portion, we felt that the price is still quite justified.

Open daily from 12:00h.
In fine weather you can sit outside (but only up to 22:00h).
