The Park of the Royal Palace of Pedralbes
A fantastic place to take a rest during hot Spanish days. In the shadow of trees you will find asylum from the sun. The park is situated near the station of the metro Palau Reial (the green line) and moreover is about 200m to Camp Nou. In the Palace are located Museum of Ceramic and Museum of Design's Arts.
Turó de la Rovira
The Turó de la Rovira (Mirador) in Barcelona is 262 metres above sea level. It offers one of the finest views over Barcelona and beyond. The 360-degree panoramas captivate all those who make the convoluted ascent, but it was the unexpected sight of mismatched tiles underfoot that triggered my intrigue. Standing atop a former military base, a flash of pink glistened in the sun. Not standard army colours, you might say.
La Barceloneta
La Barceloneta is a district of Barcelona and was originally considered as poor district of the city. However, due to the Summer Olympic Games of 1992, which were held in Barcelona, a lot changed in the district, so it was now opened to tourism due to large renovations and is not much left from the original slum. Especially recommended is the beach, but also the promenade by the harbor is perfect for a nice walk.
