One of our trips took us to Sesimbra Castelo, the castle, situated 240 meters above the city. From there you have a good view. On the grounds of the castle is a small chapel and a cofee bar (only open during the warmer months).
Best from Sesimbra take the bus toward Santana. From the bus stop at the intersection of the road to the castle it is still about 1.5 km foot walk. To find the right way from the city to the castle isn't as easy. I might easily happen that you end the the busy main road.
