The mountain of Ilmenau is the "Kickelhahn" (height: 861 meters). At the top is an observation tower (24 meters height). The Kickelhahn is located right on the "Goethe Trail" (Goethewanderweg). You can reach the Kickelhahn on various routes from the marketplace of Ilmenau.
