Regionalny express are semi-fast trains operating on many lines all around Slovakia. They are faster the regular regional trains and do not stop at all stations.
A variety of different trains are used for REX, ranging from old coaches with eight seats per compartment to modern open-plan coaches with air-condition and power sockets.
