Turismo en Stresa

The second largest of the Borromean Islands of Isola Bella . It is located just opposite the town of Stresa . It can be reached by boat or with the shipping lines. Here you must carefully weigh which ticket is the most suitable (single tickets - round trip - combination tickets). There is a ticket diversity which makes it hard to find the right one. The travel time is very short, it only takes a few minutes, as the island is only about 400 meters from the shore. The island looks magnificently even from the distance due to their beautiful garden. From March/April to October, it is open to visitors. But the visit (garden + Palazzo) is EUR 13 per adult (combined ticket, which also includes garden + Palazzo on Isola Madre for EUR 22). Even in the pre-and post-season, the island is tourism very well visited and probably completely overloaded during the peak season. In addition to the garden and palace complex there are restaurants and souvenir shops . In our view, a visit is recommended only conditionally, for garden lovers but surely a MUST.
