To travel by train from Berlin in Germany to London in the United Kingdom you have two main routes.
First you travel from Berlin by ICE/TGV/Thalys train to either Paris (France) or Brussels (Belgium).
In Paris (France) or Brussels (Belgium) you change to the direct Eurostar train to London (United Kingdom).
From London continue to your final destination.

To buy train tickets from Germany to France, compare the booking links we list. Prices are usually the same, but sometimes vary slightly.

Depending on where you start in Germany (and where you want to travel to in France), you can either use the route via Cologne by Thalys to Paris. Or from Frankfurt or Stuttgart via Strasbourg/Saarbrücken to Paris by TGV/ICE. There is also a direct train from Frankfurt in direction of Marseille.

If you want to use a night train, have a look at the Russian night train Moscow to Paris (enter in Berlin). A very nice experience and high quality.

1B Travelling from Paris (France) to London (United Kingdom)
To travel from Paris to London by train, you have to use the direct Eurostar train. The journey time is about 2:30 h.
Buy your train ticket for Eurostar and find schedules via the given booking links. As earlier you book, as cheaper the ticket prices are.

An other travel option is to use a bus. The journey is much longer, but usually cheaper. Flixbus runs this route several times per day (also over-night), but as well other bus companies.

The journey by train and including the ferry Calais (France) to Dover (United Kingdom) is for now no nice option anymore. The journey is long and the ferry got really expensive for foot passengers since several years.

Buy your train tickets directly from Belgian Railways (SNCB/NMBS) or German Railways (DB) via our buying links. Tickets for Thalys services are also available on the Thalys website.

ICE and Thalys high speed services from Cologne and Frankfurt to Brussels are the fastest connections on the route. Cheaper regional trains run from Aachen to Welkenraedt with connections from Cologne and to Brussels.
