To travel from Romania to Hungary by train, buy your ticket from international ticket offices at stations in Romania. There are a number of offers available, including discounts on regular one-way or return tickets as well as advance saver fares. However, online tickets from Romanian Railways CFR are not available for international journeys.
You can buy online tickets from Hungarian Railways MAV START, however online tickets from MAV START have to be printed from ticket machines at stations in Hungary!
International services run mainly from Bucharest either via Brasov - Sibiu/Sighisoara - Simeria or Craiova - Timisoara to Arad and then via the Curtici/Lököshaza border crossing to Budapest. Additional international express trains run from Brasov - Cluj Napoca - Oradea via the Episcopia Bihor/Biharkeresztes border crossing to Budapest.
Buy the train ticket at a railway station. Note: in some countries you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter. The ticket can be purchased at a station in the country of departure, also sometimes in other countries.
To travel from Budapest to Munich by train use one of the direct Railjet trains. Train tickets are available as "Sparpreis Europa" (saver price) from 39 Euro. The journey times is about seven hours. The Railjet trains offer at least five direct connections per day.
Beside the day trains there is as well a night train offering seats from 29 Euro. Of course there are as well first class sleepers available as well. The journey time of the night train is about 9:30 hours.

To travel from Germany to France by train, use a route either via Cologne to Lille/Paris by Thalys train. Or from Frankfurt or Stuttgart via Saarbrücken/Strasbourg to Paris by TGV/ICE. There is also a direct train from Frankfurt in direction of Marseille. Please use the given booking links to find schedules and ticket prices. Prices are usually the same, but sometimes vary slightly.
If you want to use a night train, have a look at the Russian night train Moscow to Paris (enter in Berlin). A very nice experience and high quality, but does not run daily!
The Europe Special price of Deutsche Bahn (German railways) is available from EUR 39. As earlier you book, as cheaper the ticket prices are.
To travel in France by train, buy your ticket via the following booking links. There you find schedules and ticket prices with discounts. Book early to get inexpensive train tickets. To travel long distances between the big cities of France, use a TGV high-speed train.
To travel by train from France to Andorra, the last part has to be done by bus. First by train to L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre (France). There you change to the bus to Andorra la Vella.
Bus journey time is about 1:30h. The bus ticket price one-way: EUR 12,50.
