EC trains connect Warsaw with Prague and Vienna. Within Poland they are classified Express Intercity.
Reservierungen sind verpflichtend; diese sind an Fahrkartenschaltern in Polen gratis erhältlich. Außerhalb von Polen kosten sie die normale Reservierungsgebühr (3 - 4,50€).
Steigt man ohne Reservierung ein, kostet sie an Bord beim Schaffner 10 PLN.
Ist ein Zug ausgebucht, kann man ohne Reservierung einsteigen, muss dann allerdings mit einem Stehplatz auskommen.

In many countries, especially in central and eastern Europe you can also buy reservations for trains in other countries. In some countries (for instance in the Netherlands or Spain) you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter.
