The best restaurant in Kaunas with super delicious food and an amazing variety of beer from all over the world! Located in Laisves Aleja at a slightly more quiet spot than the rest. They have seats outside in summer. I recommend the salat with dried tomatoes and pumpkin seeds and a dark beer - I love this place!!
Akropolis Shopping Center
Akropolis.... the place to be for rainy days or when you are just hungry. The shopping center offers a cinema, ice skating, bowling, restaurants, lots of stores for clothes and MAXXXIMA - a huuuuge supermarket! It is worth going to MAXXXIMA instead of a restaurant because they sell lots of freshly prepared food like salads, fish, meat, bread... oh and the cakes! Oh my... definitely worth it!
Cafe Kavos kerai
If you make your way through Laisves Aleja and walk towards the old town of Kaunas, there is this small, comfy café on Vilniaus gatve. It has several types of coffee, cakes and other deserts. The best choice in summer is simple and great: coffee with a scope of vanilla ice cream (Kava su ledais 1.80€).
