Great Market Hall Budapest

Nagy Vásárcsarnok Budapest

The Great Market Hall (Nagy Vásárcsarnok) in Budapest (Hungary) or also called Central Market Hall (Központi Vásárcsarnok) is the largest indoor market in Budapest. It was build around 1896. You can buy everything there from meat and bread to fruits and vegetables. In the upper level you can eat some typical Hungarian food (several small takeaways). The prices are good. In the lower level you have a supermarket.

St. Stephen's Basilica

Szent István-bazilika

The St. Stephen's Basilica is the largest church in Budapest and is situated near the Chain Bridge on the Pest side. It was dedicated to the first Christian king of Hungary (Stephen I). The dome of the Basilica is 96 meters high, the same high as several other buildings of Budapest.
