Heidelberg Castle

Schloss Heidelberg

The Heidelberg Castle is a mix of styles from Gothic to Renaissance. The first parts were built in the 14th and 15th century. You have a great view over the city of Heidelberg. To visit the inside of the castle, you will have to pay an entrance fee of EUR 5.

Old Bridge

The Old Bridge (Alte Brücke) built in 1788 is one of the bridges crossing the river Neckar at Heidelberg. It is just bellow the castle of Heidelberg.

At the South end of the Old Bridge in Heidelberg, your will find the Bridge Gate (Brückentor). In the past it was integrated in the city wall of Heidelberg.
