Grand Place
The Grand Place (French.) Or Grote Markt (Flemish) is the central square in Brussels, which counts as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The market is dominated by a barroque front facade. Bordering buildings to the square are the Town Hall, as well as the "House of the King", which now serves as the city museum.

The Parc du Cinquantenaire ("Park of the Fiftieth Anniversary") is a large park in Brussels, and is especially in the summer a good place to relax. The park was created for the 50th anniversary of Belgian independence in 1880, as for the then King Leopold II. On the eastern side of the park is a large triumphal arch which was completed in 1905.
Parc d'Osseghem
The "Parc de Osseghem" is a 17 hectare park in the north of Brussels. It is located right next to the Atomium. It was created from 1927 to 1935 on behalf of Leopold II as part of the World Exhibition in Brussels and invites you to relax.
Laeken Park

The "Parc de Laeken" is a 70 hectare park in the north of Brussels, located in the Laeken district. Close by is the "Parc d'Osseghem" and the Atomium. In the southern part of the park is the Laeken Castle, the residence of the King of Belgium, with the famous Royal Greenhouses. To get to the "Parc de Laeken", the best is to use the metro line 6 from the station "Gare du Midi" and get off at "Stuyvenbergh".
