hello!
Are those two lines still working? Because i checked on rail europe for a train from Sofia to Belgrad and a very weird route turned out! :/

Hi.
Of course these two train connections are running like mentioned on our website! :)
But it depends on the date you are searching for - annual change of the schedules.
And like often said, don't use the information of the website you mentioned.
The railccs are experts since more than 15 years and not a simply a ticket outlet like many other websites. That's the difference! ;)

Currently only the night train runs...but it is scheduled to run again in July...let's see.

The online booking system definitely works.
But note: online booking is NOT available for all trains in Europe!
Especially in Eastern-Europe, you usually buy your tickets at a train station. In Bulgaria international train tickets are sold at the RILA offices, for example in the main station of Sofia.

There is no need to book this train online as reservations are not compulsory. It is enough to buy the tickets while you are on your trip.
If you want to have a bit more sleep you might want to get reservations for the couchette or sleeper car which you can get at a train station or directly on the train as well (take care not to pay too much; a couchette should be around 10€, a sleeper ~30€.

no.
MOre likely it is it will never return. It makes no sense and only spoils time to ask again+again. IF it returns, there will be an outcry and posts on about any train-forum . Both railways running it-BG and SRB, are in dire straits and have no money and too few traincars that are still able to run-they have more standing in the yard for repairs.
Its more fruitful to press your Metroturizm or so to lay on more comfy buses as rayat.

Hello everyone,
as you know there is just one train which departs at 8.30pm and due to it is nigt train according to Interrail.eu we have to make a reservation.
We will arrive sofia at 11.30 am therefore we are little anxious about making a reservation for these two reason:
First one: Is there any possible seat for making a reservation after 11.30 am? is it too late to make a reservation? ( I mean is that train goes full generally)
Second one : Are ticket salespersons know english?
and can we make a online online reservation for this train? if yes, how?
We re very afraid about catching this train.

As far as I know you do not need a reservation for a seat on this night train. However, for a couchette a reservation is necessary.
The RILA ticket office for international sales at Sofia station should be open until 2230 so no problem to make a reservation before departure. They can speak english.
No online reservation possible.

Actually I didn't try to say that is there any possible place to make a reservation. I 'm curious about generally is there any purchasable seat after 11.30 am in this train?

Yeah, 3€ is the price for a seat reservation if you want to make one.
I dont know about the 1130 issue...it should be no problem IMO but I cant guarantee it.
It would help if you would post your experience with this train after your trip. :)
