I'm flying to berlin in a few weeks with the intention of interrailing and ending up in amsterdam, wouldn't mind prague in between but need a few more suggested destinations. Can anyone help?

Hi!

Well Interrail might not be the best solution then as the shortest ticket would be the 5in10 - and if you want to stay a few days in Berlin at the beginning and a few in Amsterdam at the end of your trip this would leave you with only a short amount of time to travel to other places.
Maybe have a look at regular tickets too: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] for travel to/from/within Germany and [ux]https://rail.shop/nsinternational[/ux] for travel to the Netherlands
If you want to go to Dresden, there are direct trains from Berlin every two hours. To continue to Amsterdam you could then use the night train Prague - Duisburg, maybe add a stop at Cologne and then go to Amsterdam.

OK. Well, Europe has a lot to offer, so it isnt easy to suggest specific places. Prague is nice of course, Budapest is too...maybe you should also have a look at Krakow, as well as some places in the Benelux countries - Delft, Brugge, Gent...

Yes there is a number of train companies that dont accept Interrail however on your route it is very unlikely to encounter them.
