Help with Frankfurt airport station

Hello! I am flying into Frankfurt and must get to Uni Kassel.

Through the Frankfurt Airport train station, can I take a train directly to Kassel? Would this be "long distance train" or "regional train"?

You have both. But take a direct long-distance train. Possible without change of train. Saver prices available (there you find as well all schedules) on [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn/Frankfurt-Airport/Kassel[/ux]
Ticket prices starts from EUR 19,90.
Note: if you buy such a saver ticket, you are fixed on date and time. Calculate some time between landing and departure of the train.
