Hey everyone.

I am planning trip from Brussels to Hamburg in 2 weeks. I have possibility to take train on Sunday from Koln to Dortmund (arrives at 12.21), and change train in Dortmund to Hamburg (at 12.25).
Did anyone try that?
Its only 4 minutes to change planes and I have no idea if its realistic? (I don\'t know how railway station in Dortmund is big).

I would appreciate your help,

Magdalena.

Hi Magdalena and welcome to rail.cc

It is the connection leaving Brussels at 08:23, arriving in Hamburg 15:12 ?!
4 minutes is not really a lot. As the schedule planer shows the connection, it should be doable.
It sounds like "8" and "10" are not on the same platform (left and right hand side), but in Dortmund Hauptbahnhof https://rail.cc/en/dortmund/dortmund-central-railway-station/l551 they are. Leave one train and just enter the other train on the opposite. I suppose a lot of travellers will do and the train will wait some minutes if the yours is in delay. If you miss the train, no worries, just take a later one (one hour later).

For tickets have a look on Deutsche Bahn [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
There you will also find saver prices and you support the free information on rail.cc with your purchase - without extra fees for you. Thank you! :)

Enjoy your trip and please just ask if you have further questions. Pete :)
