Expresen Vlak (FastЗР)

Express trains or fast trains with compulsory reservation are the fastest trains in Bulgaria. They consist of refurbished coaches with 2nd and 1st class seats. BDZ operates one train per direction from Sofia via Plovdiv to Burgas, from Sofia to Varna and from Sofia to Ruse.

- 2nd and 1st class seats
- air-condition in some coaches
- bicycle transport possible
- facilites for the disabled on some services

Seat reservation compulsory.
