Me and my friends are plannig to visit Greece during our trip with an interrail global pass. But we can\'t find a train going from Thessaloniski to Athens on the interrail website. We\'ve found a plane but it\'s 46 euros and we\'re on a budget. Is there any way to go from Thessaloniski to Athens with our interrail global pass by bus, ferry, train ?

Hi and welcome to rail.cc,

of course there are several direct trains from Thessaloniki to Athens. You can find the schedule on the website of Greek Railways at [ux]https://rail.shop/ose[/ux]
Unfortunately the IC trains require a reservation which costs about 20€.
The night train can be used without extra costs.
If you have time I would suggest including the city of Kalambaka into your trip and visit the Meteora monasteries: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/train-ferry-greece/[/ux]

Support our work and buy your official Interrail pass via our partner link to interrail.eu: [ux]http://rail.shop/interrail/[/ux] - thank you! :)
