Bear Pit - Bear Park
Bärengraben - Bärenpark
Bears were formerly kept in the Bear Pit. They moved some years ago the new Bear Park which was built along the river Aare. Also a nice view over the Old Town.
Bundesplatz
The square in front of the federal building (Bundesgebäude). In the summer with a beautiful water game with 26 water fountains, symbolizing the 26 Swiss Cantons.
Bern Cathedral
Berner Münster
Church in the Gothic style. 344 steps to the second platform. Spiral Staircase. Also worth seeing is the Cathedral platform, from which you have a view on the Schwellenmätteli (Aare).
Käfigturm
The Prison Tower is a tower-shaped gate in the old town of Bern, whose construction was completed in 1644. This tower was originally a military or prison tower. Today, there is an exhibition on political issues.
