Regionálny rýchlik (RR)

Regionalny rychlik are express trains operating on the main lines of the railway network in Slovakia. Similar to Rychlik they connect larger cities however they operate on shorter routes.

Trains generally consist of refurbished or new coaches and provide comfortable seats in 2nd and 1st class. In both classes you will find coaches with open-plan arrangement (4 seats per row in 2nd class, 3 seats per row in 1st class) as well as with compartments (six seats per compartment). Almost all coaches have air-condition and many coaches have power sockets. Bicycles are conveyed on most services, and most are have also facilites for the disabled. Some coaches also have Wifi and there is a restaurant car on some services.
