Dear sir/madam,
I live in Greece and I would like to travel to Sweeden and Norway with global pass. So my question, from where can I get an interrail train to travel to Sweeden? Should I travel to Sweeden by plane and then, use my interail pass at Sweeden? I\'m a little confused.
Thank you for your time.

Hi Kalliopi26,

well, that\'s really up to you - but I have to say, if you ask me, going by train will be a thousand times more fun an exciting. Going on an epic train journey at a very reasonable price and seeing loads of beautiful, cool and interesting stuff in between is really what Interrail is all about :)

Going from Greece to Sweden by train (and, optionally, ferry boat), there are several different possible routes. Roughly speaking, you will make your way to somewhere in central Europe (usually, Munich, but Zürich and Prague are also good options), head north from there to Hamburg, then to Copenhagen, and from there to Malmö, Sweden. The journey from Munich to Malmö takes about a day, or a night and half a day if you go by night train.

Have a look here to get a sense of how to get from Thessaloniki in Greece to Munich:

The routes to Zurich and Prague are very similar, a Euope-wide train journey planner is available here: [ux]http://plan.rail.cc/[/ux] It can\'t sell train tickets and reservations, but it will give you train timetables for almost all trains in Europe.

It is worth pointing out that some trains, especially night trains, require an additional reservation if you want to travel on them with your Interrail Global pass. Information on specific trains is available here: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] Remember to support the guys at rail.cc by using this affiliate link to buy your Interrail pass (there will be no extra cost to you).

Feel free to ask about anything else if you have any more questions.

Have a nice trip!

Best,

Quenzon
