Amsterdamse Bos
The Amsterdamse Bos is a huge park (9 km²) in the South-West of Amsterdam. Good to relax. It is a 15 minutes walk (South-West direction) of the railway station Amsterdam-Zuid.

Typische Grachten Amsterdam
The Grachten (canals) in Amsterdam are a must-see. The most attractive ones are the Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht which are just site by site. There are many individual shops and cool coffees. And if sun is shining, it is simply wonderful! :)
Vondelpark
The Vondelpark is a large monumental park located near the center of Amsterdam. It is a great location for a nice walk (don't forget to look at all the beautiful surrounding houses!) or a picnic. Also keep your eyes open for free concerts during summertime, at the Vondelpark Openluchttheater (open-air theater).
