The Leipzig Tourist Information is located close to the railway station. When you come out of the station, then do not purposefully go straight to the center, because then you'll miss the Tourist Information Office. After the over or under crossing of the ring road (outside the station), keep right at the next street, then go to Katharinenstraße and turn left here. Then you come exactly to the front of the building with the tourist information. Note: There are also tickets sold for the various sightseeing tours. On the road it is also advertised very much, but there you only get single provides and do not have the range of choice of the various companies. Opening times: Mon-Fri 09:30 - 18:00 h (November-February 10:00 - 18:00 h) Sat 09:30 - 16:00 h, Sun/holidays 09:30 - 15:00 h

Coming out of the railway station, crossing the main road and tram tracks, crossing the square toward Nikolaistraße, you see the info of the "Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe" (Leipzig public transportation). Here you can buy tickets and get a network map (ask for it!). In front of the information office is as well a ticket machine where you can buy as well all tickets you need.
