As a resident of the city, I have never stayed there. But I can definitely recommend the location where you will find the hostel - you can easily walk to / from the train station and the historic city centre. Those who don't like to walk can use tram line 6, direction Steigerstraße.
The overnight rates (see homepage) can be quite nice.
An interesting feature of this hostel: it is in a former police station. But do not worry - it is of course completely renovated.
