The Stockalper Palace ("Stockalperschloss") was built 1651-1671 by Kaspar Jodok von Alper. It is considered as one of the most beautiful baroque buildings in Switzerland. Today, the town hall of Brig and a museum is housed there. In the castle garden you can picnic and relax very well. From Brig train station to the palace it is about 10 minutes of walk.
