Are bus tickets included in the interrail-ticket?

Hi and welcome.
In general bus tickets are NOT included in Interrail.
The bus service you talk about (Prague-Munich) is from Deutsche Bahn (German railways) by IC Bus: [u]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/intercity-bus-prag/209[/u]
A seat reservation (available at stations) for Euro 4,50 is required.

Hi and welcome to railcc!

...included are the "IC Bus" services of Deutsche Bahn DB (German Railways), mentioned by Pete. A seat reservation is required.
Also included are "IC Bus" services of ÖBB (Austrian Railways). Seat reservation needed on international services.
Other buses that are included are the bus connection from Lulea to Kemi: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/kemi-lulea-bus/[/ux] or the bus between Rijeka and Lupoglav in Croatia.

Okay, thank you! How do I book a bus ticket with my interrail pass? Can I do it before I start my travel or do I need to do it at the station? I know that train tickets can be booked via interrail.eu

Ah okay, I think I got it - I can buy the ticket / do the reservation the same day at an office in Prague if I\'d like to..?

You can simply buy the reservation at a station...anyway, what route do you want to travel? There are two-hourly direct trains from Prague to Munich which you can use without a reservation - they take a little longer but it is certainly a more interesting way to see the countryside. :)

I agree with Flo, definitely more to see of the countryside by train than by bus. :)

Okay, thank you so much! Yes, Prague-Munich and then directly Munich-Zürich (won\'t have time to stop in Munich). I will probably need some sleep, too, and I guess train is better then! And when I can\'t sleep I\'ll enjoy the view ;)

Yup, its a much more interesting trip by train! Both train lines have some quite scenic parts. :)
